Jaimee Bloom has been an electrologist for the past 28 years practicing in New York for 5 years and then opening her office at the present location in downtown Portland in 1988. She has been an active member of American Electrology Association since 1984 and served on the Board of the New York Electrolysis Association for 3 years as Vice-President, Newsletter Editor, and By-laws Chairman.  Jaimee then moved to Oregon and joined the Oregon Association of Licensed Electrologists in 1988.  She has served on the OALE board as President, Vice-President and IT chairperson for all but a few years.

Jaimee’s has been working on with male and transgendered m-f clients since she started practicing electrolysis.  Her experience has been put to good use as she has authored well received presentations on dealing with male clients and transgendered m-f clients.   She has presented at the AEA National Convention in Chicago in 2008 and at AEA state seminars in Texas, Oregon, and Washington. Many electrologists consult with Jaimee to better serve their clients.  

Professional certification is of paramount importance to Jaimee who sat for the first CPE test given in 1985.  In 1991 Jaimee was licensed by the State of Oregon as an electrolysis instructor.  For the past fifteen years Jaimee has been a proctor for Oregon State Health Licensing Agency, administering the practical part of the state licensing examination.  In 2004 Jaimee was asked by IBEC to be a member of the panel that prepared new test questions for the upgraded CPE examination.   

Jaimee was appointed by the Oregon’s governor to the Oregon Electrolysis Advisory Council in 2000 and was appointed Chairman in 2002. She was then reappointment to the Health Advisory Agency for a 6 year term in 2010.


Tangee M. Holub, L.E.

Tangee is a Graduate of the Aesthetics Institute, Portland, Oregon and a member of the AEA, OALE. Tangee serves on the OALE Board as treasurer and membership chairman. She practices in Oregon and Washington.
